Checking a customer's balance & allowance

Last updated 1 year ago

We make it easy to check a customer's balance or allowance on the Customers Page on the Company Dashboard.

Modifying a customer's allowance

The allowance decrease with each payment, thus customers may eventually have to increase their allowance. The paying wallet is the only wallet that can manage its allowance. They must sign an on-chain transaction to modify this amount. Albeit, this is a killer feature of web3 - control over one's assets and approvals.

Loop makes it easy for customers to do this on the customer portal. Loop does not control the customer's allowance, albeit it is a function on the token contract, not ours. Thus, the customer can also go to sites like etherscan or revoke.cash to manage.
